Research Engineer and author Chris Jones knows the importance of clean water. His research interests include water quality and agriculture, water monitoring, contaminant hydrology, and nutrient and sediment transport. Jones has spent years researching and writing about Iowa’s water quality. He just published a book called The Swine Republic: Struggles with the Truth about Agriculture and Water Quality.
Iowa CCI is hosting Chris Jones as guest speaker on Thursday, June 22 for our first Iowa CCI meetup of the summer! We are thrilled to have him join us in the Barrel Room at Confluence Brewing to talk about his work and his new book, and to discuss how important it is for Iowans to speak out about water quality. His book will be available for purchase and signing.
