Rastetter & Summit on the IUB agenda

Counties and community members are working tirelessly to protect their communities from dangerous CO2 pipelines. But Bruce Rastetter is, again, trying to stifle our voices and bully state regulators into approving his greenwashing scheme.

Can you join us on Tuesday Dec 13th at 8 AM to tell the Iowa Utilities Board to protect our communities?

That day, Rastetter's Summit Carbon Solutions is on the Iowa Utility Board agenda. Summit is arguing that county ordinances to protect communities from pipelines and eminent domain abuse, like the ones passed in Shelby and Story counties, are preempting the federal government.

In other words, Bruce Rastetter is trying to take away local control in order to line his pockets.

We need a strong turnout at the next IUB meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 13 to rise up against these corporate pipeline profiteers to say that our safety and environment are more important than their profits.

We'll meet at the CCI office in Des Moines at 8am for a quick prep session before heading to the IUB together.

Let us know you can join by RSVPing here.
