Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline
Energy Transfer Partners (ETP) – a Fortune 500 company from Texas – is trying to build a toxic oil pipeline through 18 Iowa counties and numerous watersheds, streams and rivers.
This massive toxic oil delivery system threatens Iowa’s already impaired water quality, the property rights of thousands of everyday Iowans, and will contribute to catastrophic climate change.
The Iowa Utilities Board fast-tracked a permit for ETP and their company Dakota Access to build. That’s business as usual for Iowa regulators: corporate profits are more important than the rights of everyday people.
But, Iowans are standing strong. This fight is far from over.
We’re going all out to make sure this destructive proposal doesn’t happen. No oil in our soil. No eminent domain for private gain!
